Mothers Day exhibition

My daughter Lily hung around with me on Saturday afternoon until it turned into Saturday evening, helping me hang all of the children's artworks for the Mothers Day Exhibition which we titled "Off The Wall" (apple danishes were included in the deal).

Doesn't the artwork look amazing! I love how stunning the children's work looks on mass... not to mention their adorable faces all smiling back at you. It was also pretty cool to see their street art out on the back wall of the studio.. somewhat deteriorated from our Autumn rain but that it the nature of street art.

Thank you to all the families who popped in on Sunday to celebrate the children's art and were eager to take it home at 3 o'clock ... I know I went straight home to hang my girls art in our hallway.

 

 

A peak at the children's street art

The studio will be closed from April 9 - April 25 (I am taking the family on a holiday.. our first in 7 years!) so I thought I would share a sneaky photo of the street art in progress that the children have been working on.

We had a look at the street art by Dain in London (on the computer not in London unfortunately..) The children's new artworks will be on display at the Nest Studio Mothers Day exhibition in May ... all are welcome!!
