What a gorgeous start to term 3! Still life collage would have to be one of my favourite classes that the children do here at the studio. We use left over paints from term 1&2 to create Carlesque papers ...instead of washing paint  down the sink .. I love this kind of upcycling! especially in art making .. we really like to keep our waste to a minimum at the studio. I did a blog post about this years ago.. see it here. (wow! 2006.. that brings back memories)

Speaking of Eric Carle .. story teller and collage artist extrordinaire.. this post about his book "Do you want to be my friend?" is so very sweet.

What a wonderful idea! I pinned this on my Pinterest site. You may get a lot of hits soon because everyone hates wasting all that leftover paint! I know I do! Thanks for the tip!
