The Umbrella Prints Trimmings COMPETITION is nearing the closing date of May 1. One of our favourite products over at Umbrella Prints is the Trimmings packets... when I have finished making a stack of them it reminds me of a big bowl of lollies...Yum! But what is very intriguing (to me anyway) is what ya'll do with the Trimmings?
In 2010 we held a Trimmings competition and it was so much fun that we thought we should do it again.... we met so many of our lovely customers and it was a treat to see what they were making... so much creativity!
So here's how it works
1. Buy a packet of Trimmings from the Big Cartel shop ONLY
2. Join our Flickr group
3. Upload a pic of your packet to Flickr with it's special Trimmings Competition paper label
4. Then upload photos to Flickr of all the beautiful things you were able to make from one packet. Remember to tag them umbrellaprints, trimmings2011.
The person who make's the most beautiful objects from one packet of Trimmings will be sent this most awesome parcel of goodies :
1 metre of Umbrella Prints fabric (your choice!)
A generous remnants pack of our new range of fabrics (coming soon)
A pair of our beautiful Teardrops & Petals earrings
An Umbrella Prints gift card set
AND a mystery gift.... oooh.
Ok so the other fun part of the competition is .... Amy and I will choose 10 finalist and YOU will get to choose the winner. Here are the dates.

May 1 Competition closes
May 6 We post the 10 finalists and you start voting (this will be on Amy's blog Rain & Shine)
May 10 Voting is closed and we tally up your votes to announce the winner.
