Goodbye carousel

Fringe

The Fringe festival closes tonight, for another two years... although our premier has suggested we might be having the festival every year? We made the most of the evening regardless and had two rides on the carousel... I did something I never thought I would do.... I woke Moopy up from her sleep at 8:30pm after I had made up my mind that we could not miss one last evening in the Garden of unearthly delights... I was relieved to see at least a dozen other kids Lily's age enjoying their late night icecreams and carousel rides. And I finally remembered my camera... although the flash makes the photos washed out so I appologies for the blurry yellow, non flash pics.

loves!!

ahh... tis a sad time. after 2-and-a-bit weeks of flat out fringing (either volunteering or partaking of shows) it's all over... what am I going to do now with the 6 hours that lay between work finishing and sleep starting??!

Oh, so sad! Your photos are lovely... they capture it perfectly!

What a fantastic thing to do! I'm sure Moopy will remember it all her life. Great pics.

Carly, hope to see you in adelaide soon. Ben and i are thinking of you! I'll see you when I'm in town, 8th april onwards to 23rd. Despite all those weddings I'm going to make time to see you and moopy and chris. See you soon!

It was worth waking her up for that! I wish I could have gone to the festival!

the pics look gorgeous!! definitely worth waking moopy up to experience that!!! x

A flash would have runined such a beautiful sparkly event! Im very jealous....

i love the 'blurry yellow' photos- it's whimsical and beautiful! sounds like fun!

It looks magical and SO worth waking up your little one to experience.

IT looks like a fairy land. Great pics - blurry and all!!

That carousel looks amazing! Sometimes it's definitely worth upsetting the 'routine' for special moments like these - captured beautifully I might add!
