Clue #1
I have sworn to secrecy on a super duper new project..... forbidden to tell. I am not very good at keeping secrets this exciting so I am going to give little clues here and there.... You can tell me what you think is going on ... but I won't talk ... of course I can nod my head but you won't see that!
If some smarty pants out there actually figures it out (you smarty pants you) then you are in for a big treat! And thats all I want to say about that.
I am feeling rather Matheresque with my little silver platter collection, one of my latest thrift shop finds. The poor things were scattered around the place looking tarnished and feeling very sorry for themselves... when I brought them home I cleaned them up with my fave cleaning product.... bi-carb & vinegar... and bingo!a cake tower... (or what ever you call them). Moopy insists on filling it with chocolate cupcakes... much like the apron episode, I am not one to disagree.
more..
You can see one of Camilla's adorable patches in the background (sadly it and all her other goodies are headed off to Nest Studio 'the actual shop' for lucky Adelaide customers). I did however get a patch all of my very own and am, as we speek, thinking up a fun thing to sew it onto... lets hope I get that done to show you.
My bean popped up by the way....
Just before I go ... PLEASE tell me your toilet training toddler pulls off her/his nappy ALL THE TIME... and it drives you insane... especially when they have already done #2!!! Sorry Lily I didn't mean to embarrass you in public but geepers how much mess does one mum have to clean up I ask?

Is your project something to do with a fish? The clue reminds me of a fish :) What a great thrift find, I have been dreaming of finding a cakestand thingy but it hasn't happened yet. Oh and my daughter is 2.5 and I can't get the hang of the toilet training at all and she is totally not bothered and even denies it when she has obviously been! And yes I have had to clean up no.2's from my lovely beige carpet (not so lovely anymore!).

I think you're working on a stuffed owl!

That's either an eye on ribbed fabric or a tire...

It looks like very thick fabric to me (or is it just a closeup)? I'm thinking a tapestry pattern ... and yeah, I agree it looks an eye.
Haven't got up to the toilet training stage yet with my little one, although she plays with the tabs of her nappy, sometimes getting them undone. Bloomers/ over pants? As for toilet training, my Mum forgot to, and when she checked at about 3, I'd already learnt by myself. A model of laziness for us all!!!!! ;D

Yip yip ...an eye! And I'm pretty sure I know whose eye it is ... love him! :)

Today my six year old went for a walk with his dad and when he came home he tracked dog poop all through the house! Ugh. It just made me wonder again, if this ever ends.

Dont tell me that! We are almost to that stage and I cant imagine her pulling off a poopy diaper. Geez, it just keeps getting better!
